Details below. See you outside!
Susan

Saturday, May 18, 9:00 AM-noon
Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Johnson Creek Watershed Council (JCWC) and the Friends of Errol Heights to document bird life at this little gem of a Park. The recent addition of beavers in this little Park has had a dramatic effect on the bird life. Join experienced “birders” to help document what birds are in this area!  Documenting wildlife helps PP&R with our management plans. Keep your eye out for beaver, ducks, and other wildlife as you volunteer alongside other community members—everyone welcome, and no experience necessary! Wear long thick pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear, and sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water, coffee/tea, and snacks provided. Children welcome and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.

Meet at: SE 45th & Harney Dr. Park on SE 45th or Harney. Be aware not to block neighbor’s driveways. Enter Park through gate behind Franz Bakery.

Tri-met: Bus #75 (SE 45th & Harney stop)
