I am inviting you to enter Stories to Change the World, an all ages writing competition! Run by local a non-profit, Create Plenty, Stories to Change the world builds the body of literature which depicts positive and possible futures. We do this work because we a believe a positive world becomes more possible when we can picture it and share our visions.
Writers of all experience levels, ages, and backgrounds are asked to use their own perspectives and philosophies to envision the future considering 'what if things go right?', then write a story about a household living there. Entries are due by February 28th. The stories are very short, just 700-1,100 words. Prizes include publication and a $250 first prize. Please note that we have both a youth and adult categories.
